Third and final day of shooting

Intertextuality:

For my third and final shoot day I focused on intertextuality so that I could use either just one or all of the clips I obtained. I thought it was best to get at least 3 different bits of intertextuality so that I have a variety that I can choose from when putting together my music video. I believe that 2/3 were somewhat successful and I would be open to using them, these included intertextuality from 10 things I hate about you and ‘You belong with me’ by Taylor Swift. I believe that these would be useful to use as it links to the social and cultural context of the target audience.

 

Second shooting day

 

First Day of Shooting

 The first day was a struggle to plan, but once I got the schedule sorted and confirmed that definitely helped the process. It helped that because I had a lot of people taking part in the music video, the scheduling helped to organise it so they didn’t have to stand around waiting. At the start I found the process quite overwhelming as there was so much to think about all at once, but once I broke it down into more manageable pieces which helped me complete my shot list of clips for that day. Overall, it was a successful day and I feel like I completed and obtained everything I needed to at that stage and it made me feel positive about my future shooting days. It left me with a good starting point and hopefully most of the videos can be used throughout the music video.
