The Queen’s Death

  

This unique issue of The Sun was published following the unexpected death of The Queen, who reigned for over 70 years. The large white font highlights the overall message from the people. Underneath this, there is an informing paragraph about The Queen and her reign and how much of a liking people took to her, which is impactful as it highlights how much she did for the country and the people, which makes it a nation wide heartbreak. The change in the colour of the masthead to purple, symbolises her wealth and fortune. The black and white photo, shows her as a normal person, despite the fact she has given so much to the country during her reign, from such a young age, which makes people feel more empathy towards the situation, as she too was also a normal person, but did remarkable things for the country. The black and white shows how the colour has been drained which shows how much of an impact her death had on people. The 36 page tribute shows to what extent she went to do the best for the country.
